We were super impressed by your office, you and the staff, and Dr. Daniel. Chris had a question regarding the healing process a few days after we returned home so we texted him on a Sunday morning and he got back to us right away which was very nice and made Chris feel more at ease. I dealt with you and the staff to schedule the surgery, fill out paperwork, and ask questions and you were amazing and quick to answer questions and get us on the schedule. I was super impressed with Dr. Daniel's intelligence and expertise on the surgery while we were going through the consultation. We were both a ball of nerves coming into the office the morning of surgery without meeting him first because of us living 5 1/2 hours away, even though I had done my fair share of research online prior to booking, we still had fears of what if the doctor or facility wasn't as great as it appeared. That fear easily slipped away as soon as we walked in and met with Dr. Daniel. I could tell he was more than qualified, and honestly after he was through the consultation, I wouldn't have felt more comfortable with anyone else in the country. Chris said during surgery he was super friendly, very relatable, and talked to him personally as if he was a friend. That was shocking to me as some doctors are very cut and dry, if you know what I mean. We can't thank you all enough and are super excited to start our journey to have a little one. :)

My husband and I came to you in June of 2021 for his reversal. During the surgery you weren’t able to get any active sperm when you looked. When I learned this I was pretty devastated. We started trying as soon as we could, as we were both getting older and this would be my first child. In October 22 I found out I was pregnant and beyond ecstatic, the reversal worked. Dr. Daniel and his gift of performing such a delicate surgery is a God send. My husband had his VR 18 years after a Vasectomy. We’d been married 8 years before deciding to search more into which procedure we should try in order for us to conceive. Before choosing Dr. Daniel, one doctor told us that it was nearly impossible, with only a 5% chance that a VR would work and that my husband would be in constant pain afterwards. They only suggested an IVF for me, which we didn’t want to do. Another doctor gave other options that didn’t seem safe or reliable. In October of 2020 after weeks of research we chose to drive 7 hours to Dr. Daniel's office for my husbands procedure. We walked into your office in February 2018 not knowing if what we were getting ready to face was going to work or not. I recently go to hear my son's heartbeat for the first time. That's about as good a review as anyone can give. Even though there were facilities in Maryland that performed the procedure at a lower cost, such as Kaiser and only paid $3,000, we chose to go to a physician with the experience and specific expertise for the procedure we wanted to ensure the highest rate of success. The procedure cost $7400.00 and so far I have no regrets. From the moment that we arrived inside the office until the procedure was over I felt very comfortable and my husband was taken care of very well.The procedure was explained before and afterwards all findings were explained very thoroughly. Dr. Daniels assisted me getting my husband into the car and provided us with all information in case of emergency whether it is after hours or during the business day. My husband unfortunately had a bad reaction to the sedation used and had bad nausea and vomiting after he started eating that evening after the procedure... But it went away by the next morning and he didn't have too much pain or discomfort after the first night. The facilities were immaculate and even though Covid-19 is still a public concern, all appropriate precautions were taken and everyone had on face masks and our temperatures were taken. Now we just have to wait for his healing to complete and hopefully we will be updating this Google review with a confirmed pregnancy update. My Husband and I just wanted to write you with the good news that we have welcomed our first child together back in December. We first came into your office in 2014. (Vasectomy 2005) Unfortunately that procedure didn't end up working for us. (sperm count initially good, then later zero) When we came back in for the second one at the end of 2017 we found out that one side closed and the other side came undone.

Both times you and your staff were amazing. The second time around we were definitely more cautious. I made my husband stay in bed for a whole week. Only getting up to use the bathroom and shower. We kept ice on him constantly until he felt he didn't need it anymore which was about 6 days post procedure. He then took another 2 weeks off of work as it was Christmas time. I have to admit I made him continue to take anti- inflammatory pills well past what was probably necessary.

A year went by (December 2018)and we still weren't pregnant so we kind of figured it would never happen for us. Then in 2019, ( on my husband's birthday), we found out I was pregnant. Our baby girl arrived in December 2019. I was 38w6d. She was 20.5 inch long and 8lbs. She is amazing.

When I read testimonials, my skeptical mind wonders exactly how much they were paid or discounted to give a testimonial, ha ha. I also hate to give reviews on anything, but Dr. Daniel and his staff deserve the few moments it takes to show my gratitude and give my testimonial. Dr. Daniel is the true image of a good physician. He and his staff fully answered my questions, put my mind at ease, and gave me real expectations and descriptions of the procedure and recovery. It is important that you have a care taker the day of surgery to drive you around and help you that first day, because you will need to rest the first 24 hours. My mom was that person for me. She is in her 70's and after the procedure, Dr. Daniel personally escorted me via wheelchair in the pouring rain to our car to help her help me. My procedure was performed in July of 2018, 13 years after my original vasectomy, so my expectations are tempered on the success of this operation. Dr. Daniel not only has great bedside manners, but also is a skilled physician. There are two ways I know this. The first can be seen by how well he closed the wounds that are necessary for this procedure. His wound closure is top notch and I have healed nicely. The second way I know he is a good physician requires a confession as a bad patient on my part. We are supposed to wait 30 days after surgery before we are allowed to release to allow for full healing. The nerd in me overcame my ability for self control and I bought a child's $35 microscope that has 1200x magnification (sperm are visible at 400-600x as well). I was able to see for myself if I had viable sperm, and was able to video them with my iphone (google and youtube are a good thing). I want to thank Dr. Daniel and his team for a job well done.

We had great experience with Dr. Daniel and his staff today. Staff were very approachable. The initial consultation with Dr. Daniel was full of useful information. I learned so much about the anatomy, the technique and the procedure. Dr. Daniel was very delightful too and this definitely help calm the pre-op nerve. He should think about being a stand up comedian if he decides to retire from practicing medicine. I also like the fact that Dr. Daniel is very straight forward, fact-based and honest. He’s not touch feely, which works out great for us. The doctor helped me to take my hubby downstairs himself after the operation and let us know we can contact him through his cell if there’s an emergency. We hope we have great results. The important thing is to follow post op instructions. So my hubby will be stay in bed for the next couple of days and we will keep fingers crossed after that. There are many reasons why a couple still can’t conceive and it’s not fair to blame it on the doctor. The office environment is very clean and serene. I would recommend to have your VR done by Dr. Daniel. It definitely worths the 5 hour drive for us.

Dr. Daniels did my husbands vasectomy reversal on April 10th, 2018. Dr. Daniels told us that my husband's actual vasectomy was one of the worst vasectomies he had ever seen with two totally different techniques used on each vas. One vas was completely gone and he had to do the the special bypass procedure on that side. The other side had five clips that you were not able to remove only undo for fear of scar tissue. You told us that you had hope in the side with the clips but wasn’t too sure about the other side. You only said that you believed the one side was good but again it was one of the worst vasectomies that you had ever seen. Well it’s been three months and we aren’t pregnant but we did a home semen analysis using a device called YO that uses a special device that clips on your phone camera and a built in microscope, slide and liquefier solution. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and only read good reviews. I was scared to do the home semen analysis bc of how bad the original vasectomy was. I was scared the reversal didn’t work. Well sir I am here to say you know what you are doing bc well I’ll send you the video to see for yourself but the analysis said that we had moderate to normal motility and count! I am beyond excited to know that we are one step closer to adding two little feet to our family and becoming a mom. I'm 8 days out from surgery and wanted to go ahead and write a review aimed at the men. I see lots of reviews about success and babies and my wife and I hope to update our review with that later but for the guys looking to have this done with Dr Daniels this review is for you. The practice and staff are awesome. If your worried or concerned about your procedure then worry no more. The office is clean and calm. The staff, only 3 including Dr Daniel himself, are beyond nice and comforting. Everything moved prompt and smooth. Dr Daniel doesn't rush or push anything during the pre op meeting. He's very down to earth and relatable. He takes time to answer any questions you may have and is very relaxed the entire time. After your pre op you take a 1 minute drive to the Walgreens just around the corner and they have your medicine waiting at the drive thru. It cost 85 dollars out of pocket if you forget your insurance card like we did. Once back you take your medicine and the doctor is scrubbed out and ready to start. He's still laid back and relaxed. After a few moments he takes you back to his operating room and you get onto the table. He tells you a few more details of the procedure and that the medicine will take affect soon and fast. The numbing shots hurt but not badly by any means. After that no more pain at all. I remained awake until he had reviewed my right side and he remarked "bet you had no trouble getting pregnant with your children" I was less than a year from my original vasectomy and just did not like the fact it was permanent so hearing his good news put me at ease. That's the last thing I remember until I was sitting in a wheelchair with Dr Daniels himself taking me to my car. Procedure went well with all variables in my favor. Fingers crossed. I have some swelling and bruising which is normal. Overall the pain was never greater than a 6 and that was easily controlled with the meds he prescribed. As of today the only pain at all is from my left incision and it's not very intense at all. I'm certainly taking it very easy to make sure I give myself good chances of success but I could have easily returned to work after 4 days so long as I wore my support. I will update my review further as things progress for my family but for all those considering Dr Daniel I highly recommend his practice. You will not regret your choice and the area is wonderful to spend a few days during your recovery.

My procedure was complete January 18, 2016. My wife had a great experience! Dr. Daniel was very professional and personable. Through his providence of instruction prior to the procedure as well as the written instruction provided to us for after the procedure, my wife and I learned exactly what to expect from the procedure and how to tend to after care concerns. After trial and error with another supposed professional clinic, I can honestly say that my wife and I are so pleased that we were blessed to learn of and complete the procedure with Dr. Daniel. Additionally, the clinic is in a great location! The candle wood suites are less than 5 minutes from the clinic and there are plenty of places to eat and, yes, for those unfamiliar with the area as we were, there is public ocean access within about a 20 minute drive.

I had my reversal on Jan. 21 or 28th of 2016. I can't really remember. My wife did all of the research and decided on Dr. Daniels because in her words, "She wanted the best." I was very nervous about the procedure because my original vasectomy was pretty painful. Upon walking in the staff was very friendly. When I met Dr. Daniels he spent a long time going over the procedure with me and my wife and answered any questions I had. He definitely put me at ease with his dry humor which is very similar to my own. We even talked about working out for awhile which took my mind off of things. He recommended places in the area for my wife to visit for the two hours that I would be in surgery. The offices were clean and very nice. The operating room seemed very state of the art and sterile. I was asleep for the whole procedure and I didn't feel a single thing. I'm a hypochondriac and I always feel like there's something wrong with me, so anytime I felt like maybe I strained myself too much or that I undid the surgery I would simply text or email Dr. Daniels and he would respond the same day. I just recently had my procedure done at Carolina Vasectomy Reversal. I was very nervous because my original vasectomy was a very painful procedure for me. I am writing this review as the patient and it is day 3 after my surgery. It is important to note that I have worked in healthcare for 15 years and specialize in healthcare quality and safety. This is both a good thing and a bad thing when you are the patient. I was very nervous about the procedure, given all that I know about healthcare.
My experience was absolutely wonderful. The office staff were very welcoming and professional. They presented a professional image from the beginning that made me feel more confident in my choice to have my procedure at this facility. The process was very well organized, and this also made me feel more comfortable.
Dr. Daniel did an exceptional job explaining the surgery to me. I was really impressed with the time he took to make sure all my questions were answered. I was made to feel as though I was the most important thing he had to do that day. He and the entire office staff were focused on me. I can’t say how impressed I was.
The facility was immaculate. It was clean and sanitary. I have a very critical eye for healthcare quality and I can say that this facility is maintained to very high standards. The operating room was impressive, especially for an outpatient clinic. You really get high quality service and exceptional value for your money. I have seen many outpatient surgery centers and this one was maintained and operated better than any that I have seen.
The surgery itself was painless. I followed all the instructions and have experienced very little pain afterwards. Dr. Daniel called me the day after the procedure to check on me and I thought that was very kind. My reversal was ten times better than my original vasectomy.
Kudos to Dr. Daniel and his staff. I read another comment about Dr. Daniel not being a touchy/feely doctor. I experienced the opposite of this. He has a great sense of humor and that helps to soften the conversation. I don’t want a surgeon to come into my room and deliver joke after joke. I want to know that my surgeon is competent and experienced. This was a very serious procedure to me, and Dr. Daniel presented himself as the medical professional I was looking for. I would recommend Dr. Daniel and this facility for your reversal without any hesitation.
I would give this facility 6 stars if that was an option.

In January 2014, God spoke to me and He told me:
“About this time next year, you will hold a son in your arms.” (2 Kings 4:16 )

The vasectomy was completed 20 years ago. I was very skeptical about the success rate. My first sperm test was failure after the reversal. The nurse gave me hope that it would improve. 60 days after the first test we had second test with positive test. I was still skeptical , however today I stand corrected.  Great job Dr. Daniel!!

I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I (Jeff and Shirley,  Johnstown, PA) are expecting our first child in October. My husband had his vasectomy reversal performed by you back in August. He had vasectomy 10 years prior. At this time we had traveled back to Pennsylvania where we purchased a new home so that we could be near family. The urologist that performed his analysis only did a spot exam under the microscope in his office. The rest of the sample was never sent to a lab for a full analysis. I would like to comment on my experience with my vasectomy reversal performed by Dr. Daniel on  Jan 16th (8.5 years post vasectomy). First, I would like to say that his office staff was very professional and walked me through the initial process. I called a few times prior to the date of my procedure and they were able to answer my general questions. They ensured I understood what I needed to bring prior to the surgery and provided directions to the pharmacy to get the medications. As for Dr. Daniel, I must say I was pleased with selecting him to perform my reversal. I did my research (and I actually work at a large healthcare organization that performs the same services-ranked in the top 50 in the U.S.) and found his pricing and experience to be unmatched (by several thousand dollars). Dr. Daniel performs vasectomy reversals on a daily basis, and for him to be a Microsurgery Board Certified Urologist really put my mind at ease. As an individual that works in healthcare I truly understand and respect the importance of specialty certifications. Dr. Daniel consulted us (my wife and me) for at least 40 minutes going over the surgery in detail and answered any questions we had. I wanted to know Dr. Daniel’s honest opinion about the success rate numbers being quoted in literature and in general, and he relayed that it is person dependent and there are several factors beyond just the surgery itself.
Dr. Daniel also consulted me on an unrelated issue that occurred weeks after the surgery. Not only did he answer my email within hours, but he also called me. I would really like to thank Dr. Daniel for providing my family the opportunity to actually get the vasectomy reversal accomplished at an affordable price. I hope to have some great news of a new addition to our family in the near future.

Hello everyone. I’m 10 days into my recovery and I wanted to provide feedback on what a terrific job Dr. Daniels and his team have done. I’m in Savannah, so I was really pleased to find someone with as much experience with vas reversal so close. Like many couples, our initial contacts with “fertility experts” and local urologists left us with insufficient information and a sense that we looked like an annuity stream to them. With my first visit I found the office staff friendly; and Dr. D to be very helpful, very matter of fact and a terrific listener. He was also very patient, as I had way too many questions. Once I made the decision to have him do the surgery, the process was very smooth. The team has been through this many times, they were very accommodating and it went very well. Dr. D. made sure that we were all on the same page, we all were clear about post surgery recovery and he made sure all of our questions were addressed. The surgery itself was comfortable – Dr. D. told me that I’d probably fall asleep, I was determined to stay awake … and I didn’t stand a chance. I fell asleep before anyone came into the room. Apparently I was coherent and talkative and sounded aware after the surgery on the ride home, but of course the next day I had only the most general memory.
The first week my testicles were pretty swollen, there was bruising and discoloration all of which we expected. The pain was tolerable (in fact, I’ve not taken any of the pain medication). Initially, I cursed Dr. D for his “huge” sutures (I suggested that he’d be an awesome salt water fisherman for his effective knot tying and the suture material seemed industrial strength!!). Now, after 10 days, all swelling is gone, including the sutures; and all discoloration is gone. I’ve figured out the correct combination of undies (tightie whities) and walk (a teeny bowlegged) to get through my work day. I’m actually surprised that the recovery is going as well as it is.
Like all of his patients, I’m sure, this 30 day moratorium on ejaculation is trying. But, it’s simply biology – the tissue has to heal and bond. It’s not as if anyone can make it go faster.
I’ll come back with an update when we achieve “success”, but I wanted to get feedback posted before I got too far along and forgot.
Dr. Daniels is the best choice I could have made.

In 2002 I thought I was finished having children and had the vasectomy procedure done, even thought I was only 26 years old.
Fast forward to 2013 and I find myself remarried to the love of my life and wanting to have a precious baby(s) with her. …several months ago, my wife’s nurse practitioner gave us your number. Apparently, one of her patients had used your services with great success. On July 30, we traveled to your facility from Dandridge, Tennessee, with hopes of a successful surgery in your office the following day. Upon speaking with your office, I was immediately comfortable. My husband had a vasectomy seven years ago, before we had met.  Shortly after, he had testicular cancer and had one testicle removed.  We had been told by a well-respected urologist that a vasectomy reversal would be a waste of time, and maybe we could try IVF, but overall, we had little chances of conceiving.  We went for a second opinion and decided we would try reversing the vasectomy anyway, despite the first doctor’s hesitation.  I found Dr. Daniel online and he spoke with me on the phone to answer my questions.  We decided to go for it.  My husband had a smooth and comfortable experience, which was a nice surprise.  Dr.  Daniel is affordable (relatively), professional, warm-hearted and ethical. We even got a hug after we left from the surgery. Long story short, we had a baby girl ten months after we had the operation!!!!!! She is now one-month-old, completely healthy and so wonderful.  I am eternally grateful and highly recommend Dr. Daniel and his staff.

Every time I look at my little boy I cant believe how fortunate we are that God put you in our path. I cant convey how very thankful my family is that we found your clinic and that our procedure was successful. I gave birth to Elijah at 38.4 weeks he was 8lbs 1oz and 20 inches long he was born 9 months and 6 days after Daniel’s procedure. UPDATE: It is now almost 2 years later and we are planning on expanding our family again. Dr Daniel has kept in touch through the years through email and FB and I still can not convey how thankful we are. I highly recommend his office for your procedure. Do the research. Compare his office with others, meet his staff, and speak with him personally. You will see why so many of his clients are as thankful as I am.
